The Kitchen Gardener's Logbook

The Kitchen Gardener's Logbook has been designed to be extremely easy to use whilst at the same time allowing the recording of the maximum amount of relevant information.

The ten page preface gives detailed guidance as to how the book should be used. The preliminary sections contain space for keeping details of your garden (size, shape, soil type, shade, etc.) followed by a substantial section allowing climatic information to be logged in graph form. Some typical values are indicated to show how easily this can be carried out.

At the end of the book space is provided for summaries of the year's growing season in the form of a diary. This will prove invaluable when comparing results from year to year and will also act as a reminder when to sow particular produce. There is also space to record expenditure.

The main sections of the logbook consist of detailed logsheets for vegetables, herbs, soft and hard fruit, designed so that each type of produce (or variety) has a separate double page spread. All aspects of growing can easily be logged together with the quantity and quality of the produce.

The Kitchen Gardener's Logbook is priced £9.90 and is available by mail order.
